Henrik showed us the main sights of Oulu and explained the historical background of the city in an easy and interesting way. His English and the way he tells stories are really good. We enjoyed the tour a lot and can recommend it to anyone who wants to get to know the city better — especially during the European Capital of Culture year in 2026. A small suggestion for the guide - Sharing further information: restaurant and sauna recommendations and some sightseeing spots outside the city center e.g. with a QR-Code or PDF.

The guide was very attentive and always tried to adapt to our language, since we don't speak it, and to take us to beautiful places. My only complaint was that after three and a half hours of the tour, there was nothing left to show us. From that point on, she only started taking us to playgrounds and other pointless places, like explaining a directional sign.
