I used it quite a lot in Bali and Jakarta, posting to Instagram daily, using Google Maps, taking Grab rides, and watching videos, but I never ran out of data and it was very comfortable. The connection was stable and I got a connection immediately upon arrival. Especially in Indonesia, you'll need to use eVOA (electronic visa), Grab ride-hailing, and translation apps frequently upon entry, so I recommend installing and activating the eSIM before leaving Japan. It eliminates the hassle of searching for and connecting to airport Wi-Fi, and you can use the internet immediately upon arrival, making immigration, visa application, and ride-hailing much smoother. Setting it up was easy with just a QR code. For sightseeing, this data allowance should be sufficient. For first-time visitors to Indonesia, it's much easier than buying a SIM card at the airport.

I used this eSIM in Singapore. I could connect local network almost non-stress. When I get on MRT (underground section), 5G was sometimes unavailable. But I didn't mind very much.

The communication speed is stable, making video streaming and social media posting stress-free. iPhone users will appreciate not needing to open the SIM slot. The only caveat is that some models may require APN settings. However, considering the ease of use and cost-effectiveness, I plan to choose eSIMs again on my next trip.
