We had a phenomenal experience. Jose was our tour guide. He was absolutely amazing. The wineries we went to were both fantastic. Each winery had an employee to guide us through the winery and wine tasting— they were both very good at their job and happy to have us there. Everyone had very good English and communication was easy. It was also very nice that Jose picked us up from our hotel.

When we travel, we try to make real connections in the places we go. If you feel the same way, then this is the Rioja tour for you. It's a family-owned and operated business, and Rebeca and Robert could not be more friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the industry and the region. Their personal connections gave us insider status at the wineries, and truly took us "behind the curtain." They even opened their home to us to view some cool artifacts and enjoy one final tasting! If you are looking for a wine-tasting tour of Rioja, look no further.

We really enjoyed our day with Rebeca and Fito visiting two unique and authentic wineries along with a lunch with our hosts. We gained great insight to the wines of Rioja including a unique blending experience to produce our own “cuvée “ based on differing oak. We experienced the traditional caves and learned about the challenges of the strict laws governing the production of wine in this wonderful area. A great experience.

Great trip! Our tour guide was Iker . He was fantastic! He was on time at the hotel , so friendly and provided all the info that it was possible to share with us. We spent 8 hours chatting and chatting! Took pics with us, took us to San Sabastian, Geturia and wonderful place called Zumaia! 100% recommended this tour with Local Experts Tours !
