The whole experience was amazing we got to dress up and they do our makeup. It was a bit rushed but they do have many people to do in a short period of time. If you’re darker skinned bring your own foundation! Food was great and the entertainment was amazing!

We're delighted with our bike ride! We drove through the historical and beautiful places of Shanghai, Daniel told stories about remarkable places. It's quite convenient to ride a bike here, in parks we walked on foot. We visited China for the first time, and Daniel answered our questions about the country and the city in detail. It was very interesting! We also tried local street food, it was delicious. Thanks to Daniel for organizing a great bike tour! I highly recommend it to anyone who comes to Shanghai.

We booked through Trip easily. We searched for it using maps along the route. We wouldn't have found it otherwise. We were on Nanjing Street. The restaurant is on the third floor of a large store. We had to wait about an hour to get into the dining room. There's a guy at the counter; you go up to him and take a ticket, sit on a chair, and wait your turn. You can track the queue on the board. When you enter the restaurant, if you've already paid for it and have a voucher, show it so they know you've paid and what exactly you've chosen. Otherwise, they won't know. The food and service are 10 out of 10. Plenty of it, delicious, and, of course, very beautiful and unusual. I recommend it.
Reviews: "Shanghai Imperial Feast: An Immersive Experience of Royal Banquets from a Thousand Years Ago"

First and foremost, this is a restaurant first and foremost. The entertainment program serves as a background and introduction to the dishes. Don't count on a performance; the main thing is the food. Now, about the food: they offer 10 main courses and unlimited appetizers and tea. I'm not sure about the imperial soju; I only tried the first shot because I'm not a big fan of alcohol, but the girls are constantly refilling my glass. You can also order additional drinks from the menu, but for an extra fee. The food is small in portions, but I'm sure even the most gluttonous person (but not Chinese :), which is the main complaint on the Chinese internet) will be satisfied. I ate half a portion and still felt stuffed by the end; about 1.5 kilograms of food in total. The dishes are inspired by the legends of the imperial menu, and everything is delicious. You can pay on site, but only if there's enough space. It will be significantly cheaper, around 320 yuan.

Very good experience visiting here.  Food is great and performance is wonderful.  I had separated pay for dress and makeup at the store.  Highly recommend one.
Reviews: Yu Garden New Chinese Tea Experience (Stunning Terrace Views of Yu Garden + Immersive Tea Ceremony + Variety of Tea Snacks + Premium Tea Selection)
Guest User2025-09-29
Cool experience! I bought the voucher and made my reservation for the next day over the chat. There was a bit of confusion over what I had booked when I got there, but they sorted it out. The woman who did the tea ceremony was very knowledgeable and explained so much about the Chinese attitude to tea and the traditional practices around tasting it and how many times you can brew it. Overall a good tasting experience, just be prepared for a hard sales push after. I had planned to buy some teas but I was not prepared for the price point. It may be because of the tourist area, but these are way more expensive than even the priciest tea sellers I've bought from back home. I didn't know enough to be sure if I was being price gouged, so I only bought the smallest amount. Just be forewarned and enjoy the ceremony!
