Monkeyland was amazing. Walking around with all the monkeys walking next to you,or climbing right above you. We also went to Jukani - which I wouldn't recommend. It's great that they have a sanctuary there and luckily their enclosures are really big. But as they are that big and they are wild animals you don't see much. We saw two lovely tigers and sweet lions though.

the whole experience was great from start to finish, the guides and skipper of the boat were all very good at what they do, explaining everything. We were even lucky on our trip to encounter 4 Orca whales, and they made sure we got a great view of these as they are a rare sight, we spent a great amount of time with the seals too, seeing them in their natural environment was amazing. Would definitely recommend.

We made sure you to get there earlier as we did with all our activities in Plett. They way we get a smaller group on the tours. We moved to NZ from SA many years ago and brought our daughter to SA for the first time to experience the African bush. This tour allowed her to get up close to the animals and having the tour geared for kids was very informative plus she got a certificate she can take home and show her friends in NZ.
