Christine is an absolute rockstar! Her knowledge and enthusiasm is fantastic and the places she took are excellent. Have been visiting this area pretty regularly for a few years now, but had no idea of some of the fun facts and the hidden gems she took us to. Can't wait to do it again with friends that are coming down with us next month!★

We chose Haitang Bay mainly because it's less crowded. And indeed, it wasn't crowded at all. The Renaissance Hotel we chose was also very nice. However, I'm not sure if it's a partner room, but the balcony of the sea-view room wasn't transparent like other floors; it was a solid wall, meaning you could only see the sea from standing up. Please be aware of this, and perhaps you can choose to do so during check-in. The free car rental was nice, but the location for it on Ctrip was incorrect and not detailed enough. It took us half an hour to find it. It's actually on the 2nd floor (departure point), but Ctrip listed it as the 1st floor (arrival point). There was no local information, and nobody knew where to go. I suggest providing more detailed information—ideally, including the rental office's phone number for us to contact.★

The two-day trip was almost completed in one day, leaving only the South China Sea Guanyin statue for the third day. The travel was quite tiring.
The hotel was so-so, acceptable. As for the food, since it was vegetarian, we weren't too picky, so it was acceptable.About
