Steve is an excellent guide and the towns on this trip are all picturesque with nice shops and cafes and interesting histories. I could have done without the lake tour, perhaps the guide there was just tired that day - brief commentary. The town definitely looked worthy of more exploration, as was Grasmere. Lovely outing.
