I booked the 1.30pm whale watching. It was so easy to book online and it was cheaper booking through Trip. com than booking direct to the company. I made sure we took motion sickness tablets in case the water was rough. But lucky it was a beautiful, sunny day. The ocean was very calm. It was not too windy. We saw more than 6 whales swimming close together and many dolphins swimming close to the boat. The boat hovered near the whales for 30 minutes. The entire trip took approximately 2.5 hours. It was an amazing experience.★

Driving from Sydney to Ports Stephens takes 2 hours and 34 minutes, it's quite a long drive. Disappointing because I didn't see any dolphins clearly during the dolphin watching. The boat was quite stable, only a few passengers had seasickness. Sandboarding was great fun; staff arranged transportation to and from the desert site.★

So good, such a good price. Seen some dolphins, swum in the net, it was really fun for kids aswell would do again
