Aaron was an amazing tour guide!! He tailored it to what we hadn't already seen and showed us a super great restaurant / Museum that we enjoyed for dinner that evening.

If you want to try all the hidden gem food spots, but don’t know where to start, this is the tour for you! Marcos was our guide and he was the best! Super friendly, very knowledgeable, and just overall a great guy. Definitely come hungry, because we got to try A LOT of delicious dishes. It was 3 hours well spent!
Reviews: Chichen Itza, Private Cenote/Food Experience & the magic Izamal

Chichen Itza was incredible, but the private cenote experience was the highlight! The family-cooked food and Izamal visit were fantastic too, and our guide was top-notch!"
Reviews: Merida Street Food Walking Tour

The streetfood tour experience was excellent. Usually we would not have dared to choose the small little shops, because we have no experience regarding quality. Especially when you are not proficient in speaking Spanish, it is a very good option to get accustomed to the local food. Our tourguide Diego was super kind. We loved about him, that he explained everything with competence. You could really feel that he is passionate about the local food and that everyone has a good time. Especially for us it was very helpful, that he spoke more slowly compared to other Mexicans that we know, because we were able to follow all of his thoughts. German is not as fast as Spanish. Moreover, after the trip we got an email with information on ingredients and recipes of the food that we have tasted, so that we can take this experience home. Thank you Diego, it was a big pleasure.
Reviews: Motul, Hacienda, Xcambo, Pink Salt Mine & Progreso Day Trip

Everything was very well organized. Eduardo and Pedro were very kind, always attentive and on time for all the activities. I think we could have spent a little more time at the pink mines, but overall it was very good.
Reviews: Mérida Cooking Class, taste of Yucatan
Guest User2025-11-09
The tour with Diego was fantastic! We learned so much about the city of Merida, Mexican life, and the culinary culture of Mexico (and Yucatán). You could tell how much he enjoyed leading the tour. We felt very comfortable with him and would wholeheartedly recommend him as a guide. Both his English and Spanish were very easy for us to understand. The cooking class itself was equally informative and a lot of fun! And the food, of course, was absolutely delicious. We were lucky enough to have the tour just the two of us, but it would certainly be a wonderful experience in a larger group as well! 😊
