This tour was a great opportunity to see a nice variety of things in a short period of time, while off the ship. The operator arrived well in advance and actually departed early, with everyone on board. Guided narration by our driver was quite informative and interesting.

Due to the upcoming Waitangi Treaty holiday, many members of the various Maori tribes were present. The guided tour with its many details was also very interesting. It helped us better understand the importance of this holiday for the Maori.

Our Driver/Tour guide Karthik was very knowlegable and kept us all interested on the long journey to the Islands. The boat trip was great, amazing views and time out on an island for food, drink & relaxation. The Bay of islands is a very beautiful place and well worth a visit. I wish I could have stayed for longer.


