Norberto was an amazing guide and I enjoyed the tour very much so. I had one day in Pico (came from Horta in the morning) and had to get the ferry back at 18:00. He was able to accommodate my itinerary into the tour, and despite being the only person on the day to take part in the tour, there was no awkwardness at all! He was very knowledgeable and explained many things that I would have missed, I loved the views, the van was very comfy and he gave suggestions for places to try for lunch. It was such a lovely day, and despite how big the island is, he manged to cover a lot of it in great detail. I don't normally write reviews, but I really enjoyed my time and Norberto's company.

It was a fantastic tour! Our guide Alda took us around ‘her’ island in her beautiful car! She took the weather into account by choosing the order in which we would visit, ensuring a good view of the sights at all times, without fog or rain. The Caldeira crater was beautiful, but the Capelhinos volcano was particularly ‘Amazing’ to see. As a born and raised ‘Faialse’, she told us a lot about the history and background of this beautiful island.

We were the only two people on this tour so were able to spend a lovely day chatting with our guide Maria, seeing the sights and also learning about the culture, history and formation of Pico island. We were very lucky with the weather, Mount Pico wasn’t too shy! The volcano exhibition was very interesting and we enjoyed our lunch in a beautiful park. Obrigada!

Our family of six LOVED this tour! Sylvia tailored it to us and our young kids. Mom and dad got to taste fabulous wine and kids got to swim at an awesome ocean swimming hole. The food for lunch was some of the best we ate in the Azores. A+++++
