Our guide Darnell was waiting when the cruise arrived just outside the cruise parking lot. My husband & I had her to ourselves for 5 hours, she was very informative, friendly & such a pleasure to be with. Her car was clean & air-conditioned, she drove slowly so we could easily see the surrounding area. She took us for a rum tasting that was easy going with no pressure to buy but honestly we couldn't resist. We bought the chocolate rum & delicious rum cake. We then went to a monkey, sloth & bird sanctuary. It was absolutely Outstanding, we were allowed to get up close & take photos with them on us. The facilities were clean, easy to get around & the animals looked well cared for. Afterward we went to a private hotel that had cabanas, or beach chairs directly on a turquoise water beach, also showers, restrooms & a bar with food. My reason for 4 stars is only because the hotel charges to much at $20.00 each for use of their facilities & beach, no pool & no credit for food or drinks. Our guide Darnell was willing to stay as long as we wanted & afterwards took us for photos stops & a chocolate shop that we sadly took a miss on. You won't be disappointed & I hope you get Darnell as your guide.
Reviews: Roatan Private ATV Guided Jungle Tour

Hands down the best excursion I’ve had worldwide. First the customer service was top tier, as soon as the booking was confirmed I received a call from one of the owners to tell me when and who was coming to pick us up. The communication between them was very fluid and clear. Marlon is so welcoming and great with people, we made a connection right away and he gave us a guided tour of the city, took us to see animals such as sloths and tucans, where we got to touch and pearl them, and restaurants with delicious local food. The greatest moment was ofc the quad excursion through the jungle, which was terrific, Marlon guided us to the beach assisted by Wilson who was in charge of making the best memories of our time ! Our expectations were exceedingly surpassed and we couldn’t have asked for better! Thank you so much Sunfriend team , can’t wait to come back

We had a great day on this tour and Jaime was a great tour guide. The chocolate and rum stops were the right amount of time and the products were delicious. The snorkeling was amazing and again, the right amount of time. Highly recommend this tour.

Our guide, Harley picked us up from the Coxen Hole port since we arrived on a Norwegian ship. Once we arrived at the pick-up point where there were plenty of other tour operators with signs, he pulled the van around and we started our tour. It took about 45 minutes to get to our first stop, the Mangroves. We boarded a boat that took us near the reef. The water was clear as we observed the beautiful landscape of houses on hills and waterfront properties. We entered the mangroves and took plenty of pictures and videos before heading back. From there we went to a garrifuna village along the water. We enjoyed talking to an elder and hearing about history and culture. It was there that we shopped at the local souvenir shops and watched a music and dance performance. After that, we went to lunch for a great treat. Being allergic to shellfish, the shared delicious meal was catered to us. The cook was very kind and welcoming. After lunch, we went to the monkey, sloth, bird sanctuary. This was great because the monkeys were active as the guide to our group into their environment where they jumped on us (fun!) and chased each other around. This was my daughter’s favorite part of the whole tour We then heard back to the port before we headed to our next port.
