Reviews: Rome to Sorrento & Pompeii: Tour Options and Shuttle

A very pleasant day, Marco, Sacha, and Juliana were excellent guides today. Pompeii is something you must see at least once in your life. It was also very fun spending an afternoon with the three of them ♡

The tour leader Antonino was excellent. His knowledge of rome - roman is extraordinary... very interesting listening to him.... in the otherhand the local guide roberto was not good. He left us in middle of pompeii without counting participants. Luckyly Antonino helped. Bus driver was also good. Overall this tour is good as a day trip from rome

I enjoyed our guides. Things I believe could improve the experience is cutting out the food after pompeii as the recommended restraunt did not have the food ready and cut into our time on Sorrento since we left late. I would also cut out the stop at the gift shop close to Sorrento as all of the items found in the shop were also found in Sorrento.
Reviews: Amalfi Coast and Pompei from Rome: Enjoy a Private Full-Day Tour

It was a great way to get out of the crowded city and experience more areas along the east coast of Rome! Having someone who knows where they are going drive you and show you around made it a super relaxing way to explore. Positano was always on my bucket list, but now I know it was perfect for a day trip but I wouldn’t want to stay there as it has turned into a cruise ship stop, we our guide tools us down the coast to a more quiet, mostly local area which are the types of areas we love to find. And Pompeii was somewhere I never knew I needed to see - super interesting and a private tour is the way to go! Definitely worth the expense and the day.
Reviews: Private Vatican Museums and St. Peter's Basilica Early Bird Tour
Guest User2025-12-28
Our personal tour guide, Pamela, was fantastic. It was like having our own personal Art History professor describing each piece of art. It was well worth the money to have a private tour, just my son and I, rather than being part of a group of 20 or so. And skipping the line is the only way to go. When we finished, there were 100s in a line in the rain waiting to get in.
Reviews: Golf Cart Tour Private Experience of Rome's City Center

Met with Alessandro outside my hotel and he was very welcoming. He knew a lot about history and we did a 3 hour tour. His English was good and he had a good mix of tell you about the piece and letting you explore more privately. Overall great experience. 100 percent recommend we got to see so much super quickly! Price was great compared to others
