A big thumbs up to Uncle Big Head on WeChat on February 24th! He provided clear information, location, and photos in advance, and was very enthusiastic and meticulous in replying to questions and offering helpful reminders. His driving was very smooth and safe, and the itinerary and arrangement of the three attractions were well-planned. His descriptions of the attractions and restaurants were concise. All three attractions are traditional and representative, rich in local culture and history. Uncle Big Head deserves high praise for his itinerary planning.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time here. We learned hands on about matcha from the wonderful staff. The museum admission at the end was also a pleasant and interesting experience. Would recommend if in the Uji area again.

Convenient for trains; press the link to show the QR code before entering and exiting the platform. If you're a group of four, scan the QR code one person at a time. For cars, it's a different QR code to show to the driver.
Reviews: Kimono Rental Experience in Kyoto by Sakakujing
Guest User2026-02-16
I saw many online reviews, so I decided to try this one. I was torn between choosing a kimono shop and noting that I didn't know which one to go with. When I arrived in the morning, the staff clearly explained how to choose a kimono. The stylist was meticulous, and the makeup and hair were perfectly coordinated. If you have trouble making decisions, you should definitely choose this one. But remember to allow plenty of time, because good things are worth the wait. Give the stylists enough time to carefully coordinate your outfit and do your makeup. It gets a lot of attention on the streets of Kyoto, which tells you you made the right choice. Highly recommended!

I was with Guide Kim Mi-hyang (Mika-san). During the travel times, she shared interesting stories about history and tourist attractions, as well as detailed sightseeing and photography tips. The tour was well-organized, and above all, she was incredibly kind. This was my first time visiting Kyoto via a bus tour, and I think it will remain a fond memory!

I felt this was a truly heartwarming trip to Kyoto! From the magnificent golden splendor of Kinkaku-ji to the thousand torii gates of Fushimi Inari Shrine, every stop was breathtaking and thought-provoking. The tour guide was knowledgeable, articulate, and incredibly attentive, patiently answering all our questions.
