Loved the historic location & the music.
Easy access via the funicular. Took advantage of going to the fortress an hour before the show to walk around, enjoy the views and take photos.
The show was incredible. The musicians are so talented and did Mozart and other composers justice.★

We booked the VIP Gold package, which was an excellent decision! We took the elevator up to the fortress (included) and from there went to the restaurant terrace. In glorious weather, we sat at elegantly set tables with a magnificent view of the mountains. The menu was delicious and the service outstanding. The subsequent concert in the ballroom was fantastic, and we were even offered a drink during the intermission. It was a truly wonderful evening at Salzburg Fortress.
