The most convenient, one-click setup, and the 5G signal worked flawlessly. But you mean you can't connect without the internet, which is inconvenient.

I always use it when I come back to Japan during my trip around the world. It's easy to connect to the internet, so I can use mobile payments like Mobile Suica and Rakuten Pay.

There were connection issues on New Year's Eve, but overall it worked perfectly. Important: install the SIM card in advance or in a Wi-Fi zone.

The location is superb, just a 5-minute walk from Shin-Imamiya Station, making it the most convenient option for traveling to and from the airport via the Nankai Railway. Exit 5 of the Taipei Zoo Station is right next door. The hotel is adjacent to Don Quijote MEGA, offering excellent shopping convenience; Tsutenkaku Tower is also nearby. For those with a strong gait, a short walk north will take you to popular attractions like Kuromon Market, Dotonbori, and Shinsaibashi. Even in heavy rain, the hotel's comprehensive facilities, including a hot spring, swimming pool, gym, and exercise area, are enough to keep you entertained for a whole day. The breakfast is also quite good and plentiful, even luxurious; if you're staying for an extended period, consider the breakfast-included option. Considering all these factors, I personally believe it's one of the best value hotels I've ever stayed at. We booked through a third-party website and encountered some issues using the self-service check-in machine. The counter staff provided immediate assistance, which was very helpful. However, during peak hours (weekdays 7-10 am and all day on weekends), the counter is very crowded, and you might have to wait a while to check in. Please try to avoid these times. Upon check-in, you'll receive a QR code wristband, which is required for purchases within the hotel, access to the onsen (hot spring), and the rooftop pool. Don't lose it! All storage spaces in the hotel require a 100 yen deposit, so make sure you have at least two 100 yen coins: one for the shoe locker and the other for the onsen locker. If you don't have change, there are money changers available at the shoe lockers and onsen areas, which is quite convenient. Regarding the room, we chose the new wing, and the super pink decor was a bit overwhelming. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and importantly, there were plenty of outlets—USB ports and regular sockets near the bed and under the TV—so there were no shortage of outlets. Our room, 521, probably because it was on a lower floor, had a persistent unpleasant odor from the drainpipe, making it the most unpleasant part of the entire trip. Therefore, I'd only give the room a 3 out of 10. If you want to soak in the hot springs and play in the water at the new building, you need to walk across the sky bridge. The sky bridge is not an enclosed space, so it feels quite cold in winter. Next time I visit, I will probably consider staying at the main building instead.
