Reviews: From Vienna: Sound of Movies Musical Tour to Salzburg

This was a really affordable and easy way to see the Sound of Music sites from Vienna. The tour guide was really energetic about Austrian history and really took queues from the group on what we wanted to do. Once we got to Salzburg we got a different tour guide who kept talking about how the tour was a Salzburg AND Sound of Music tour and seemed annoyed that the group was most interested in Sound of Music spots. If you are going for ease this is a great tour, but if you are looking for a more “authentic” tour with singing and music playing I would suggest to keep looking.★

Note that it's more expensive to buy on trip.com vs buying on the counter itself but it might be more convenient given it's denominated in local currency. It's very worth it to buy the card since the attractions covered more than offset the cost of the card. Note you need to go tourist info counter to collect the salzburg card which will be activated only after you visited your first attractionTrip.com picks
