I used it quite a lot in Bali and Jakarta, posting to Instagram daily, using Google Maps, taking Grab rides, and watching videos, but I never ran out of data and it was very comfortable. Especially in Indonesia, you'll need to use eVOA (electronic visa), Grab ride-hailing, and translation apps frequently upon entry, so I recommend installing and activating the eSIM before leaving Japan. It eliminates the hassle of searching for and connecting to airport Wi-Fi, and you can use the internet immediately upon arrival, making immigration, visa application, and ride-hailing much smoother. Setting it up was easy with just a QR code. For sightseeing, this data allowance should be sufficient. For first-time visitors to Indonesia, it's much easier than buying a SIM card at the airport.
