Carlos Léon was a fantastic guide! He did a great job of translating from English to Italian. He was also patient and encouraging when I was practicing my Spanish with him too 🤭 The tour had a great mixture of history/local knowledge and free-time to explore on our own. We also loved the recommended restaurant in Ronda, where we dined, the food was so good! Thank you for a wonderful trip, Carlos Léon!

We had a lovely time seeing Gibraltar with Mustafa who was knowledgeable, friendly, a safe driver, and fun! He gave great tips on what to do and see while on the rock, and was helpful at how to get pics with the monkeys. He had treats for them so they’d come up and interact but not too much! You need a couple of hours to explore the rock and get a good feel for it. The town is cute and has shopping and cafes. It’s not high end shopping but a mix of touristy and some British items. Walking across the runway is a cool experience so don’t take the taxi back. We had a very kind and good driver, Pedro. We were not happy that the Mercedes van was in the shop, so if you don’t like smaller cars, make sure you confirm the type of transportation. Otherwise, our driver was very nice, safe and accommodating. We also went from Cadiz to Gibraltar. We left at 8:30 and were back around 4. If you have a ship to return to that’s leaving, you could see the rock and such, but you would need to return and not eat lunch or shop much. We ate and shopped for about an hour. We didn’t have to worry about getting back w our shop staying the night though.
