Koh Samui is truly perfect for relaxing, while Bangkok is ideal for shopping and enjoying delicious food. My flight, originally scheduled for June 1st, was cancelled when Ctrip called on the 30th, but they couldn't confirm whether it was rebooked for the 10 AM or 11 PM flight on the 2nd (they said it was because of the domestic holiday and they couldn't contact Thai Airways). I arrived at the airport at 9 PM on the 2nd, and the Thai Airways counter said they hadn't actually held my ticket for that evening, meaning it was currently open. In the end, I was able to successfully rebook a flight for the evening of the 2nd back home. I stayed an extra night in Bangkok, booking a Holiday Inn Express. Ctrip said they would compensate me 300 RMB in cash to consider my experience; I'll check on that today when I get back.

Aside from monkeys and crows, which are actually seen in person, other wild animals in Tangjiahe are just legends. This is because there are too many tourists now, and wild animals have migrated deeper into the forests. The attractions in Tangjiahe aren't particularly noteworthy; it's just a place for city dwellers to get close to nature and breathe fresh air. Furthermore, the management of the scenic area needs improvement. We went up the mountain on October 2nd, and heard there would be visitor limits. We started at 7 am and got in smoothly, but because we had many children and walked slowly, we queued for over two hours after coming down from Motianling before finally getting on the electric shuttle bus to leave the scenic area at 7:30 pm.
