Quick installation on iPhone, activation upon arrival in Egypt. Internet speed was sufficient, with a strong signal in Hurghada, Luxor, and Cairo. There was no connection on a short stretch of the route between Hurghada and Luxor.★

If we book airline tickets through Trip, we get a discount on a 1-day 500 MB e-sim, which is pretty good for having on hand. The signal is also fast.
