There's an orange banner at Europe Square, where they meet us at 9:00 AM. We really enjoyed it! It was a packed program, a quick tour of Kakheti to get a little insight. They don't really show you the winemaking process, but they do explain it and let you taste it. Mamuka is a charismatic, cheerful guide who shared interesting information without being overwhelming. We saw a monastery, a tourist town on a mountain, and fantastic views of the Alazani Valley. We ended with a sunset viewpoint on a mountain above Tbilisi—a true Georgian landmark. The bus was modern, comfortable, and air-conditioned.★

Perfect day trip to Kakheti!
We had an absolutely fantastic day exploring the Kakheti Wine Region! This tour was the perfect day away from Tbilisi.
A huge thank you to our wonderful guide, Otto, who was so helpful, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the entire day.
The highlights were definitely the local vendor stops: getting to sample delicious local cheese, traditional chacha (Georgia’s famous spirit), and authentic fruit leather with nuts (churchkhela / tklapi) was such a treat. The wine tastings were super generous, and everyone we met along the way was incredibly warm and friendly. On top of all the great food and drink, the landscape and historical views throughout the day were gorgeous and so interesting to take in.
If you are looking for a seamless, fun, and delicious day out in Georgia, I highly recommend booking this tour! Thank you Otto for making it so memorable!Trip.com picks
