Karolina was an excellent guide, her stories immersing us in Bulgarian culture and the long history of Sofia and Plovdiv. After a two-hour tour of the small city of Plovdiv, we were able to wander the streets independently and enjoy the beautiful sunny day. The bus journey was on time, as scheduled.

We had 3 nights in Sofia and booked this for our second day, we had an excellent time. Our guide Georgie was very sound and extremely knowledgeable. The monastery is gorgeous. Would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Sofia.


