Reviews: Vrede en Lust Wine Estate:1-Hour Horseback Riding Experience

It couldn't have been better. The horses seemed relaxed and well-balanced. They weren't your typical bored school horses, just trotting along in a line. They were waiting for your participation. And yet, the tour was suitable for everyone, whether beginner or advanced. The horse was specially selected to match your skill level. All the helpers were incredibly friendly and dedicated to giving you the best possible experience, which they achieved without any problems!

The whole experience was brilliant. For safety purpose I would suggest they put rear view mirrors on the bikes.

Well, art is a matter of taste. But architecturally speaking, it's definitely worth a visit. There's a restaurant/bar on the 6th floor with a beautiful view. Everything is nicely chilled. The art is, well, okay. But the building itself is incredibly beautiful. It's something you can do, but not a must-see in my opinion. I currently have plenty of time in Cape Town, hence the visit.
Reviews: Franschhoek: An enchanting storytelling walk to 3 wine farms
Guest User2026-01-06
Our guide Cedric Loots had a lot to tell about Franschhoek and the stories of thr people that shaped the city in the way it is now. The wine tadtings were well balanced and the estates we visited were wonderful. i can only recommend to book a tour with Cedric, if you want to have a tour leading to the truth and heart behind Franschhoek.
