Reviews: Kulen Mountain Beng Mealea and Banteay Srei Full Day Tour from Siem Reap

I used this service during a solo trip in late March. I'm an older woman, over 60 years old. The day after I went to see the sunset on my own by tuk-tuk, on the same day that Chat GPT recommended a sunrise viewing + ruins group tour from another company, I happened to find a group tour (in English) on trip.com that included Beng Mealea and Banteay Srei (both recommended by Chat GPT). The price was reasonable, so I booked it without hesitation the afternoon before. Incidentally, I inquired at the hotel desk and the sunrise tour company, but they said they didn't have a similar group tour. A pick-up arrived at my hotel at 7:30 AM. There were four members, all traveling alone. We communicated well throughout the tour, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Tour guide: Mony, Driver: Leap. The first place we stopped at was អាកោត្នោតព្រះដាក់ សៀមរាប a popular palm fruit cupcake shop, where I had a freshly made cupcake. It was unexpectedly delicious and I was deeply impressed. I wanted to buy one! The itinerary was: cupcake shop → Banteay Srei Temple → Phnom Kulen Waterfall (Phnom Kulen National Park) (separate entrance fee of $20 required), lunch (grilled chicken, rice, spring rolls, fruit) → Beng Mealea. The lunch was also very local and delicious; I was truly impressed. Many people were swimming at Phnom Kulen Waterfall. However, apparently Japanese people don't swim there. The guide was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail, even adding humor. Although the company wasn't listed on ChatGPT, I was truly glad I participated. I gave a small tip. It was helpful that I had exchanged a $100 bill I had beforehand into smaller bills at the hotel. Although it was a distance from the city center, I was able to conserve energy during the journey in an air-conditioned car, where I was provided with cold towels and unlimited water. After visiting Beng Mealea, I was given pineapple. It was sweet and delicious. Incidentally, I'm not very good at English. I used Google Lens and Wikipedia to fill in the gaps in what I couldn't understand.

This tour was perfectly managed and executed! The itinerary is just nice as it covers major attractions at the site and it didn’t feel rushed as we were given ample time to explore. Our guide (Mr. Lok) is also super knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to helping us take photos. Definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to explore a different side of Siem Reap. The waterfall being at the end of the tour was just chef’s kiss too! What a wonderful way to wrap everything up, and we really enjoyed bathing in the waters of the waterfall. Thank you for the memories, Kulen Mountain! 💚

This was my first ever tour. I'd always traveled independently before, but this time I wanted to take a tour, and I made the right choice! The tour was 100% as described. The only difference was that there were only three of us: me, my guide Ry, and the driver! The road was interesting, and the sights were simply incredible. I really wanted to see the Koh Kher pyramid, and thanks to this tour, I got to see it. We also visited other beautiful and ancient temples! Thank you for this opportunity to see the ancient world of Cambodia. I'd also like to thank Ry for his fascinating descriptions of the sights and the driver for taking us there and back in comfort!

A truly amazing excursion 👌 we'll remember it forever 🫶. The shoes were definitely sneakers – the cliff is quite slippery and if you get too close to the edge, it looks dangerous, but the photos will be amazing 🔥 thanks to our best guide, Mr. Jan 🫶 it was interesting, informative, and fun with him! His help with photos and staged videos are Oscar-worthy 😁. It's definitely worth seeing and you definitely won't forget it 💯 I RECOMMEND

I really enjoyed the tour. We saw a lot in one day. The guide was very caring, friendly, and approachable. They constantly provided cold water and cold, damp towels in the car. The food was delicious, and they even gave us a gift at the end. I highly recommend it!
