Reviews: Sydney Port Stephens Day Tour - Sandboarding, Dolphin Watching, No Tips

Two adults and one kid eventually are the only people who form the group in this tour. Glad that they consider to arrange the tour in this small group. Tour guide Chen is friendly and with excellent time management. We managed to go to gah gah lookout before dolphin watching. This is an exceptional experience. We managed to see many dolphins during the trip, they are actually get right next to the boat. The koala part would be a nice if you want to fill up your day. The sea and sand view before sand sliding is amazing, quite unique view, it’s like dessert next to the sea. Chen managed to complete the trip at 6pm. We can walk around Central after that.
Reviews: Sydney Blue Mountains 1-Day Tour | Includes Morning Tea + Optional 3-Section Cable Car Experience + Optional Zoo Visit
Guest User2026-06-15
Our trip to the Blue Mountains and Sydney Zoo was an enjoyable experience overall. The Blue Mountains offered spectacular views, beautiful scenery, and plenty of opportunities for photos. Seeing the Three Sisters and the surrounding valleys was definitely a highlight of the day. Sydney Zoo was also well worth the visit, with a great variety of animals and well-maintained facilities. The tour guide was friendly, accommodating, and helpful throughout the trip. However, most of the commentary and explanations were provided in Chinese, which made it difficult for non-Chinese-speaking guests to fully engage with the information being shared. One disappointment was that the itinerary stated that morning tea would be provided, but this was not offered during the tour. While this did not significantly affect our overall enjoyment, it would have been appreciated if the inclusions listed in the itinerary had been delivered as advertised or if an explanation had been provided.

This was the most uncomfortable part of the trip. We booked a Chinese-language tour, but the driver announced upon boarding that the passengers were from the US, the Philippines, and other countries, so he would introduce them in English. He then spoke a string of English phrases. Although I later contacted the travel agency, he said after receiving feedback that he would have to make the effort to introduce the country in two languages, but his tone was arrogant and very unpleasant. I think tourists pay for service, not to be treated like royalty. Of course, aside from that, the Blue Mountains are still very beautiful and worth visiting. I just felt that this driver was unsuitable for people like us who aren't fluent in English to join a tour.
