Taking the Taiwan High Speed Rail was definitely one of the best transportation decisions for my Taiwan trip! I purchased the ticket to travel from Taipei to Chiayi because I wanted to visit Alishan and experience the famous Alishan Forest Railway. The journey was surprisingly smooth, comfortable and much faster than travelling by conventional train. Instead of spending several hours on the road, I could reach Chiayi conveniently and continue my journey towards Alishan. For travellers with limited time in Taiwan, I would definitely recommend considering the high-speed rail. It makes travelling between major cities so much easier!★

I booked for a private room. One session is 1 hour and it is enough to enjoy a hot bath! The staff explained everything and even book a free transfer to the MRT.★
