Fascinating to see other parts of Taiwan not too far from Taipei and learn some history. See incredible natural sights and just a great half day trip. Highly recommend. Amy was/is fantastic, enthusiastic, happy and so knowledgeable (in many languages)!

Reviews: Taiwan PASS for Taiwan Railways + MRT + Taiwan Tourist Shuttle
Guest User2026-11-01
This time, I successfully used the Taiwan Pass with Taiwan Railways. Overall, it was a very good experience. To use it, you need to activate it through the app and exchange it for a physical ticket. With the physical Taiwan Railways 3-day pass, you can freely enter and exit stations and book train tickets. In addition, there are Taiwan Tourist Shuttle and EasyCourse Taipei, New Taipei and Keelung passes. The prices are really affordable. Friends who don't want to drive should definitely check it out!

I booked for a private room. One session is 1 hour and it is enough to enjoy a hot bath! The staff explained everything and even book a free transfer to the MRT.

Reviews: [Exclusive for International Travelers] Taiwan High Speed Rail One-Way Ticket (15% Discount)

Taking the Taiwan High Speed Rail was definitely one of the best transportation decisions for my Taiwan trip! I purchased the ticket to travel from Taipei to Chiayi because I wanted to visit Alishan and experience the famous Alishan Forest Railway. The journey was surprisingly smooth, comfortable and much faster than travelling by conventional train. Instead of spending several hours on the road, I could reach Chiayi conveniently and continue my journey towards Alishan. For travellers with limited time in Taiwan, I would definitely recommend considering the high-speed rail. It makes travelling between major cities so much easier!
