Reviews: 1-day tour of Kumano-Kodo Nakahechi Pilgrimage Route light hiking in Nagoya, Japan|Nachi Waterfall + Nachi Taisha Shrine + Saigoku 33-Temple Kannon Sacred Pilgrimage No.1 - Nachisan Seiganto-ji Temple

It was a very enjoyable experience. I'd always wanted to hike the Kumano Kodo, but hiking takes several days, and I wasn't very familiar with the area and didn't have the courage, so I booked a day tour. It was surprisingly amazing! The guide was a very nice young man from Nanjing, and we visited the most essential spots on the Kumano Kodo. I also had some incredibly delicious plum ice cream.

It was kind of a special forces-themed trip, from 7 am to 7 pm, but the bus was comfortable for 11 people. I suggest not having too high expectations for the seafood hot pot; the scenery along the way was quite beautiful.

This trip was absolutely perfect! The itinerary was scientifically and reasonably planned, ensuring a wealth of sightseeing content while maintaining just the right pace, making the trip relaxing and enjoyable. A special highlight was the ride on the unique cat-shaped tram – its adorable design was a delightful surprise. The coastal scenery along the way was breathtaking, with the azure sea and sky a truly invigorating experience. The seafood and other local delicacies at the market were unforgettable, fresh and delicious. The best part of the entire trip was our guide, Mr. Zhao, whose detailed explanations and numerous entertaining anecdotes made the whole journey both fulfilling and joyful – definitely worth recommending!

I spent a few days in Osaka to see a concert at the Tokyo Dome, and overall I was very satisfied, except for the rain on the day it rained. The bus was a standard tour bus with plenty of empty seats, so it wasn't crowded. The driver was a typical older Japanese driver, very polite and courteous, and proactively offered umbrellas, which would have been a real hassle if I hadn't brought one. The whole trip was excellent. This is my seventh or eighth trip to Japan, and each time I book a day tour to experience having a guided group. Our guide, Mr. Zhao, was very responsible, dedicated, and thorough, explaining many details clearly. He was also very attentive in his explanations of the sights, providing bilingual commentary in Chinese and English. Even though there was only one non-Asian couple on the bus, he diligently provided commentary in English.

With private car pick-up and drop-off, the trip was more convenient and comfortable. I'd love to join other trips next time I have the chance.
