The itinerary matched the itinerary, and the flight times were good. However, because some members of our group arrived from other places at different times, the first and last days were only for airport transfers, with no sightseeing planned. This was mentioned in the itinerary, but it would be better if they could improve on this by making better use of those two half-days and adding a visit to the Longji Rice Terraces. The hotels we stayed at, Xishan Business Hotel and Yangshuo Chinatown Hotel, were generally quite nice, but the air conditioning and other systems might have had minor issues after a while… The group meals were okay. The tour guide was excellent, very attentive and considerate, and tried his best to meet our requests. The guides at the attractions were also very professional. Many attractions offered professional photography services, some giving away small 1-inch photos as souvenirs. Larger photos cost 15-20 yuan each (a bit expensive), but it wasn't mandatory. For the optional attractions, except for Impression Liu Sanjie, the other four were sold as a package, but after discussing it with the guide, we were allowed to buy two of them, which was reasonable. Overall, the trip started well and we had a very enjoyable time. Guilin's mountain fruits are truly unparalleled; it was definitely worth the trip!Trip.com picks
