Reviews: Bruges and Ghent - Belgium's Fairytale Cities - from Brussels
Guest User2025-07-18
Certainly! Here’s a one-paragraph review: I recently joined a guided tour of Bruges and Ghent and had a great experience. The tour guide was knowledgeable and engaging, sharing fascinating insights into the history, architecture, and culture of both cities. Highlights included visits to the Markt and canals in Bruges and to Gravensteen Castle and St. Bavo’s Cathedral in Ghent, with plenty of interesting stories and recommendations for local food along the way. The tour was well-paced and made exploring both cities easy and enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to get the most out of their visit to Bruges and Ghent.

Reviews: From Brussels: Bruges Day Trip with Boat Tour Option (ENG)

Fantastic trip, the tour guides and bus are well organized. The bus was very nice and we had lots of free time to explore. Our guide George was great, and he gave us head sets to listen to him speak during the tour so we could walk around the area and also listen to him.

Excellent excursion, a little rushed but everything was great. Very comfortable buses for a relatively short journey (approximately 2-2.5 hours). Our guide, Ian, was very friendly and helpful.

Excellent! We were delighted with the guides who were with us in both Bruges and Ghent. Nico is an excellent guide; he makes the tour very entertaining, as does Andrea. Both cities have fantastic scenery. The only thing to keep in mind is the timing. If you book the boat trip in Ghent, it's not always possible to do it because the assigned time might be after the return time to the coach. We weren't able to do it. But I give the tour and its guides an excellent rating.
