Sara our guide was very knowledgeable Monserrat and the black Madonna evoke a spiritual experience Afternoon tour suited me fine as I landed in the morning in Barcelona I would recommend a morning tour for those who like hiking as there are lots of trails around Good value for money and the liquor tasting added a nice twist to the tour

Our guide Olga was terrific. The Park Guell was so interesting. A unique place. The tour was just a couple of hours and we ended up staying longer in the park to walk up to the three crosses for a view of the City Nice wrap up on the visit.
Reviews: Barcelona: Montserrat Private Trip with Monastery Ticket

We had a wonderful private tour to Montserrat with Pedro. He was knowledgeable, professional, and very attentive to our family. Pedro took us to beautiful viewpoints and great photo spots, and the tour was perfectly paced. We only wished we had more time at Montserrat because we enjoyed it so much. Highly recommend Pedro for a private tour.

Only through my own ingenuity was I able to allow my disabled son (class II) to touch the Black Madonna, something the tour organizers hadn't provided (I got tickets at the ticket office without any problems, even though the guide, when asked, said they couldn't be purchased). The guide was very nice and gave us interesting stories, but mostly on the bus, giving us almost complete free time in Montserrat (even to the church at 1:30 PM – after a brief introduction in the courtyard, we entered on our own). People were disappointed because the miraculous statue is so high up that even when they walked up to the chancel, they could barely see it, and they didn't have a separate ticket, like my son and I, which cost only a few euros. Furthermore, we were supposed to go up by cable car (that was the offer), but we took the tram. And we had to return at 3 p.m. because "people wouldn't make it in time for dinner" (in the hotel where we stayed, dinner was until 9:30 p.m.), so we didn't have time to climb up, even by the shorter route.
