Our driver/guide Cyrus did a great job customizing our experience for my 84 year-old mother’s limited mobility. His car was clean and comfortable. He shared his local knowledge and made excellent recommendations at each stop. The archaeological site at Kernave was so beautiful. We took a private boat tour for €20 at Trakai, also beautiful, and walked back to the mainland from the castle, which was a good option for us. Back in Vilnius, we walked around Cathedral Square and I climbed the Vilnius University bell tower. We got dropped off at the Museum of Occupation, closed on Mondays and were able to visit for an hour before they closed for the day on Sunday.

Great experience, impressive places. Darius was a great guide - I ended up being the only person on the tour, but the interaction and the discussions I had with him were very interesting and dynamic.

This was awesome! Three sites, showing Lithuania’s medieval & horrific recent past and its hopes for the future. I was lucky. We travelled by car. Our driver/guide was very informative and kind.

Reviews: Jim's 4x Capital Fridays Vilnius, Trakai, Kaunas and Kernavė

A must! And there are only 9 seats, so book fast. Jim is a fantastic, knowledgeable, helpful, tour guide. You can tell he has fun in what he’s doing. This tour is an absolute must, as it’s the only tour covering 4 cities in one day.

The story about Paneriai is horrible. I am happy I understand more after this trip. I really feel sorry about the terrible experience and conditions during the Nazis period at Lithuania and the way they killed the Jewish people.
