Reviews: Sapa Trekking Tour Full Day

Breathtaking views all around even with wet rice fields. Very kind and knowledgeable local guide who shared many insights into her life and the life of villagers. Yummy lunch on the last stop. Was really great to be able to do a one day trek to enjoy other aspects of Sa Pa on our other days. Appropriate footwear with good grip, and care along the path is recommended.
Reviews: Sa Pa Full Day Trekking Tour

Picked up on foot from our hotel, communication beforehand was very good. The group initially looked pretty big but we then seemed to split into 2. The walk goes straight from Sapa town through the rice fields and villages, last stop is lunch and then a minibus takes you back to town by 2pm. Very very muddy and slippery sections of the path so make sure you're wearing the right footwear - walking boots, walking trainers or wellies. There was other women on the trek from the villages helping people out if they needed it. Beautiful scenery all around from start to finish. We (accidentally) went at the perfect time just before harvest season so got to see the rice in full bloom and some being dried out too. One place for a toilet stop and drinks to buy as well. Lunch provided at the end was simple local meat and veg dishes, noodles and rice. No description of what any of it was so pack snacks if you're not too open minded. Only downside was the group separating a lot, the guide didn't do so well keeping us together as was needed with different capabilities in one group. A lot of other tours doing the same route at the same time so sometimes got a little confusing.m to track where your group was. There is a lot of children selling bracelets etc, which was hard to watch at times. It’s the same as in the town and you’re torn between them out there to help their families but also concern for them being exploited. Overall we did enjoy the experience to see the local villages and the incredibly beautiful countryside.
Reviews: Sapa Motorbike Tour With Local Guide 1 Day - Waterfalls, Villages

It was a truly special experience. He was so kind and enjoyable. Riding a motorbike at 2,000 meters altitude was a real treat. But if you're not confident on a motorbike, think again. I'm so grateful to the healthy Vietnamese youth who guided me.

Reviews: Sapa The Hidden Trail Trek 1 Day - Mountain & Rice Valley
Guest User2025-09-11
I highly recommend this trekking experience in Sapa! Even though I was the only participant, the tour still went ahead, which was impressive. Nhu, my guide, was amazing and shared fascinating insights about the food and traditional costumes of the people in Muong Hoa Valley. The route offers breathtaking views of mountains, valleys, and beautiful paddy fields. The weather was just right – not too hot and no rain. Along the way, you may meet local women and kids selling souvenirs; you can choose to buy or politely say no. Overall, a must-do activity to truly enjoy the beauty and culture of Sapa!

If you’re even thinking about exploring beyond the usual tourist trail, book a tour with May Pet immediately. Truly — it was the highlight of my entire trip. From the very first moment, May Pet made the experience feel personal, exciting, and completely authentic. This wasn’t a cookie-cutter sightseeing ride. This was an off-the-beaten-path adventure that took us deep into places I never would have discovered on my own — hidden villages, winding backroads, breathtaking viewpoints, and local spots untouched by mass tourism. Riding on the motorcycle was exhilarating yet incredibly safe. May Pet is a skilled, confident rider who made me feel comfortable the entire time. Every twist and turn came with a story — rich local insights, cultural context, and genuine connections with the communities we passed through. It felt less like a tour and more like exploring with a knowledgeable friend who truly loves sharing their home. What stood out most was May Pet’s warmth and passion. You can tell this isn’t just a job — it’s a calling. Every stop was thoughtfully chosen, every detail considered, and every moment filled with authenticity. We tasted incredible local food, met welcoming locals, and saw landscapes that honestly took my breath away. If you want a real adventure — the kind that stays with you long after the ride ends — a motorcycle tour with May Pet is absolutely unforgettable. Five stars isn’t enough. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
