The tasting experience was wonderful! So educational and the chocolates were absolutely excellent. We experienced new flavors and learned about the history and traditions of chocolate in Mesoamerican culture. I highly recommend this activity if you’re traveling with a group. It will change how you think about chocolate and make you more appreciative of the Mayan culture that has made this treat so special for the world :)

I booked this class as a surprise anniversary gift for my husband. He is Mexican and loves cooking so it was the perfect experience for him to learn more about his culture and get some tips from Lupita. We absolutely loved the experience from the class, to the food, and the people we met! Mezcal tasting was fun and the entire class was an adventure! I am usually a really picky eater, but I tried every single thing on the menu and it was all very delicious and flavorful!

This wasn’t just a food tour but it was also a cultural experiment. Armando explained the food, Mayan people & traditions. All 3 of us loved the experience and highly recommend it

Tour was incredible. Food was delicious. Armando was very knowledgeable and helpful in his explanations of Tulum’s history, Mayan culture and gave us a list, at the end, of places to check out on our time if we wish. Highly recommend!


