For convenience and time reasons, I chose to take this guided tour in Chinese, even though I don't speak Chinese. The guide was excellent and knowledgeable. During the trip, he provided all the historical and logistical information about the sites to visit, which I was able to grasp even with the help of my phone's translator. I recommend taking all the additional options, such as the excursion to Flaming Mountain with a camel ride on the way there and a car ride on the way back. Although it's short, this brief immersion on the edge of the desert is worth it. Furthermore, it's the most scenic stop compared to all the other stops, which are more historical and cultural in nature.Trip.com picks
