Reviews: Mérida Cooking Class, taste of Yucatan

Dorkas was incredibly welcoming to us! Hugs and waving from the street and very sweet to initiate conversation (the guide translated for us) and that did not deter us from conversation. Our guide Giselle also suggested museums and we loved going to them on our own in the afternoon! The food was GREAT, making the food was more difficult than we thought and they were so patient with us.

The tour with Fer was really great. Every single dish was fantastic, even though I'm quite picky about food.

We loved our day with Delio! Beautiful visits to the ruins, the cenote, and the yellow city. The food at the cenote home was delicious. Delio was a fabulous guide—highly recommend!
Reviews: Motul, Hacienda, Xcambo, Pink Salt Mine & Progreso Day Trip
Guest User2026-02-24
Cesar was very knowledgeable, helpful, supportive, and made the trip fun. The driver was safe and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast at Motul and had time to walk around. Cesar really explained the process at the Hacienda thoroughly. We walked around the area and he explained what happened at the site. Xcambo was a unique archeological site and Cesar told several stories of history of the place. The Pink Salt Mine area was very windy and the weather impacted our ability to walk around and also to look f flamingos in the area but Cesar did try to make the best of it. The lunch at Progresso on our own was very good and fresh fish was on the menu. The trip in whole was the best tour of our visit to the Yukatan.
Reviews: 4 Cenotes Full Day Tour from Merida

As promised, Mauricio led us on a full day tour of 4 cenotes. After visiting two cenotes earlier in the week, I was wondering if I should skip out on this excursion. I'm glad I didn't. We visited the full gamut of cenotes... Covered, partially covered and fully open. Each was unique and fun. We spent the right amount of time at each one. After a full day of swimming, we had a satisfying late lunch featuring Yucatecan specialties.
