This full-day tour was truly one of a kind and encompassed so many of Norway's incredible features. The Viking Village was not on my list of destinations when I planned my trip, I just thought it would be cool since it was a part of the tour, and it was incredible! Very informative learning about Viking history and culture, and debunking common myths or 'Hollywood' ideologies. There is also the opportunity to participate in Archery and Axe throwing which were very fun. We then moved onto the Fjord cruise, the boat was HUGE with plenty of room for everyone, and designed extremely well so its suitable for all ages and abilities. The views were spectacular. Once off the boat we boarded the Flam railway, although it wasn't very snowy like usual the scenery was still beautiful and I felt like I could have been in the Polar Express. There was snow passed about 700m (Myrdal top station sits about 860m) and the station at Myrdal was covered with snow. Train and bus ride back into Bergen was very relaxing after a long day. Overall could not recommend this trip enough, worth every cent in my opinion.

Even during the drives, the guide was able to tell us a lot about the country, its people, and their traditions. Stunning landscapes. At the apple farm, we enjoyed delicious apple tart and learned about the family business.

Although the trip changed to Flåm and Nærøyfjord, the views of the fjord left me breathless. Not only was I taken back by its beauty, but I learned a lot about the culture and history of Norway, thanks to the best tour guide, Jan! This man was funny, entertaining, and very well structured when he spoke about various topics (from beginning to the end of the trip). And Aina, the bus driver, made sure we made it safe and sound :) Best group and tour I have EVER experienced in my lifetime, seriously!! Highly recommended!!!

As we glided through the fjords, surrounded by towering cliffs and cascading waterfalls, we were reminded of how small we are in comparison to the majestic natural world. The fjord cruise is truly a one-of-a-kind experience that leaves a lasting impression. Rail Trip Back to Bergen To balance our day trip, we took the rail back to Bergen. This leg of the journey provided a different but equally captivating perspective of Norway. The train ride allowed us to relax and enjoy the scenery from a comfortable vantage point, showcasing Norway's diverse landscapes and charming countryside. It was a perfect way to conclude our trip, offering a comprehensive view of what Norway has to offer. Final Thoughts Our trip through Norway was an unforgettable blend of challenging drives, awe-inspiring natural beauty, and relaxing rail journeys. Each part of the journey complemented the others, providing a well-rounded and enriching travel experience.
