Wonderful experience with our tour guide Bledi Nuzi who made sure we had a great time on the trip through Shkoder and Shala river while guiding us through the historical knowledge, society and people of this wonderful place. It is really nice, beautiful and an awesome place to visit. I Recommend 100% +more!!

We took several tours in Albania and I can say this one would have not been the same without our guide Ilir! The landscape is undoubtedly impressive (pics speak for themselves), but what made this tour an unforgettable experience was all the kindness and knowledge that Ilir shared with us. Ilir is a true local, well educated, respectful, friendly, and with perfect English. During the 3 hours drive and 5 of tour we talk about everything: Albanian history, culture, geography, traditions, and about our selves and the contrast with our countries! Ilir has traveled Europe, which enriched our conversations with a great perspective on cultural differences and similarities! Ilir is a great driver and was very attentive to our needs! We were 4 ladies and he took care of us, allowed us to take breaks, pictures, enjoy the surroundings and adapted the hiking to our rhythm! He slowed down the speed to let us enjoy the views, the sheep and cows on the way (but also to keep us safe, as Albanians are a bit risk-takers on the road). The restaurant in Theth took forever preparing our food and processing the payment, which caused a delay in our way back. However, Ilir patiently waited for us, let us eat, and drove us safe and sound back to our hotels. Although tired, we were extremely satisfied! Thank you so much Ilir!.. and thanks Suzi for assigning us your best guide!

The guides were amazing how they solved the issue with low water level. It was fun also. We have enjoyed the challenge were not worried at all. The main guide was also great. Personally I would have enjoyed more stories about Albania on the boat tour, than party music, but no bad feeling at all. It was a nice trip.

The tour is a must do if you are in the area and it’s definitely worth the ride even from Tirana. The boat ride back and forth is also part of the experience, the views both ways are out of this world Additionally, guide Jeffry told us many things about the region and Albanian history

Everything was well organized and it was a really enjoyable experience. We only had to wait an hour for a bus in the morning.

We were picked up on time in the morning by a friendly driver in a van (the only difference was the pickup location). The bus ride went smoothly, but the road was in very poor condition for the last stretch. The boat trip was very scenic and enjoyable. Once we arrived, we had about three hours to explore the area. You can get something to eat and drink at various spots. You can also swim and kayak (though the water is very cold). There aren't too many tourists in September, which was nice. We were back in Shkodër at 6 p.m. Highly recommended!
