The excursion was a complete success. We followed the entire itinerary, traveled comfortably in air-conditioned accommodations, and the driver was friendly and very responsible. It was a fantastic experience. I specifically chose an English-speaking guided tour just to practice my listening skills. We boarded the bus at 7 am and were dropped off at 8 pm, a full 13 hours of travel. Exhaustion was inevitable, but compared to the driver, we were very relaxed and comfortable. We didn't visit the Long Neck Karen village (we were a little scared). The hot spring was small but impressive; the 91-degree boiling water was intimidating. We didn't try the hot spring eggs; 20 baht for 3 eggs was a bit too much for us, so we decided against it. The White Temple, Blue Temple, and Red Temple are definitely worth seeing. We had plenty of time and took fewer photos, so we felt we had enough time to see everything we wanted. Since it was midday, it was difficult to find suitable lighting, and there were too many people, so the photos are only so-so. They would be perfect for photos in the softer light of early morning or late afternoon; we'll have to stay in Chiang Rai next time to achieve that.

The tour was great! The white and blue temples were so pretty and majestic. Because the itinerary was packed, I wished we had more time for all the attractions - it felt a bit rushed sometimes. The Black Museum was definitely creative and mainly for “adult eyes”. It was a long day, but the van was comfortable with air-con. The weather (in May) was really hot!

After comparing several platforms, we chose this tour group because it covered the most attractions, had the most comprehensive itinerary, and included a Chinese-speaking guide, resulting in an experience that exceeded our expectations! The guide was incredibly enthusiastic and professional, and spoke excellent Chinese (he was a Thai-Chinese, haha!). He provided us with very detailed explanations and even took many great group photos for us! The driver was also excellent, driving very smoothly. We visited all the attractions without feeling rushed. What surprised us even more was that although the group was supposed to have over 10 people, which made us think it would be crowded, it was very spacious because there were only 4 of us! The travel agency didn't offer discounts, merge groups, or cancel tours, which was fantastic!

This tour was great value for the price! I became friends with the guide, and he was very kind, even giving us fruit along the way. There was a lot of long-distance travel, so it would have been perfect if the van had been a little more comfortable!
