Reviews: Xi‘An Terracotta Warriors and Huaqing Palace +Lunch | Day Tour
Guest User2026-05-07
I used this service during the long weekend in early May. It included round-trip hotel transfers and lunch. The detailed explanations were very satisfying. The official Terracotta Army souvenir shop is more expensive than other shops, so please decide for yourself whether or not to purchase anything there.

A wonderful tour with a very good guide, Louis! The tour was in English, making everything very clear and accessible. The guide himself was very friendly and cheerful, showing us many ways to bypass long lines and saving us a lot of time.
Reviews: 1-Day Xi'an Tour: Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum (Terracotta Army) + Huaqing Palace [Chinese/English Guide]

The day before our trip, we received all the details and contacted our guide, Star. We were picked up at 7:55am, and once on the minibus, Star gave an engaging introduction to Xi’an and the day’s plan. In the morning, we visited the Terracotta Army and really enjoyed Star’s guiding style. He explained key points in English through headsets in quieter spots before we approached busy areas, making it easy to follow and absorb the history. We also had free time to explore the museum at our own pace and a VR experience of the Emperor’s Mausoleum (it can not be visited in any other way). Lunch was well organised onsite, we could decide in advance what food we prefer to eat. In the afternoon, Huaqing Palace was peaceful and stunning, with plenty of time to explore. Star's explanations really interested us again. A perfectly balanced day. Highly recommended!

Xiaomin Wang provided such an outstanding experience for us today from the pick up service, his entertaining knowledge of Xi’an and warmest of hospitality. His experience along with the driver allowed the small tour group to bypass many lines and know when to view an attraction for the best view. My girlfriend has great interest in China’s history. Xiaomin provided great conversation with her and enlightened her with his deep knowledge. Thank you for a great day and experience of a lifetime. We plan to ask for Xiaomin when we come back to Xi’an for our next visit

Excellent one-day tour in Xi'an! We visited the main highlights: the majestic Big Wild Goose Pagoda (大雁塔), the awe-inspiring Terracotta Army (兵马俑), walked along the ancient City Wall (城墙), and immersed ourselves in the atmosphere of the Muslim Quarter (回民街), where we tried the famous biangbiang noodles (面). Special thanks to our guide Angie - who led the tour with deep knowledge and enthusiasm. The driver was punctual and careful, making the trip comfortable. The tour was very informative, well-organized, and truly engaging. We got a lot of impressions and learned so much about Xi'an's rich history. Definitely recommended!
