Thoroughly enjoyed my time at the bamboo experience! I booked this trip mainly for the waterfall but was pleasantly surprised as to how much I enjoyed the bamboo experience. The waterfall was also worth the trip, but this part was very rushed.

I booked Shuhaiwan and Xiangzuoxiangyou family-run guesthouses in Xiamen and Gulangyu respectively. The owners were warm and hospitable, and the rooms were clean and tidy. I was very satisfied and would choose these two places again if I came back. The advantage of United Airlines tickets is their affordability. The outbound journey was smooth, but on the return trip, due to a mistake by United Airlines, the entire cabin was delayed for four hours before takeoff. However, they compensated me with an extra meal and a seat. The scheduled arrival time in Beijing was 1:40 PM, but it was delayed until 6:00 PM.
