Reviews: Xinjiang Kashgar Pamir Plateau Private Day Tour with Chartered Vehicle - Karakul Lake, White Sand Mountain & White Sand Lake

I booked the tour online through Trip.com, and Maggie contacted me within an hour to confirm the tour details. Maggie was particularly helpful and accommodating, as we wanted to tailor and add Mount Muztagh Glacier to our itinerary. We received our driver's information the night before our day tour – providing peace of mind. On the day, Mr. Jiao, our guide, was hospitable and attentive to customers. He has excellent knowledge and was attentive throughout. When we set off, he bought drinking water early in the morning. When we arrived at Mount Muztagh with high alpity, he went to buy an oxygen tank again. When we had some mild high-altition, he carefully slowed down the car. We were very satisfied with the whole tour. Mr. Jiao was warm and hospitable, and very attentive to his customers. He was very knowledgeable and considerate of everything along the way. He bought drinking water for us well in advance. When we experienced altitude sickness at Muztagh Ata, he bought oxygen cylinders. He carefully reminded us when we had mild altitude sickness and slowed down the car; he's a very thoughtful person. We were very satisfied with the entire trip, including the journey through Baisha Mountain, Muztagh Ata, and the Pamir Plateau 👍🏼, and it was full of laughter. 😊

Advantages: Strong water flow and significant drop, making it very exciting. Disadvantages: Perhaps due to the weekend, it gets very crowded, leading to disorganization and safety hazards as everyone is packed into the river. Also, the showers and changing areas are too small and basic. It would be much better if it were more upscale, like a traditional hot spring resort.
Reviews: Xinjiang Tianshan Tianchi 1-day tour [Pure play quality + Multiple meeting points + Various activities]

I booked a small group tour to Tianchi (Heavenly Lake) with six people, and the experience was absolutely fantastic! Sister Cui arrived right on time to pick us up, without making us wait at all. The car was clean and tidy, and Sister Cui proactively explained the history and highlights of Tianchi along the way, providing professional and detailed explanations. She even clearly planned the order of the tour, the location of the ticket gate, and the best photo spots, making it both convenient and effortless. Sister Cui was incredibly warm and attentive, providing thoughtful service throughout. She repeatedly reminded us of important points after taking us to the ticket gate and waited for us at the agreed-upon location on the way down the mountain. With such a driver, the entire trip went smoothly, and the scenery was breathtaking. I highly recommend Sister Cui to anyone planning a trip to Tianchi! 💯
Reviews: Turpan/Urumqi Departure - Karez Well & Flaming Mountain Chinese Group Day Tour

I am traveling solo in China for a month, and out of all the cities I visited, Turpan in Xinjiang became my absolute favorite—it was the cherry on top of this entire trip. It can be tiring waking up early for buses and trains, but it is always worth it because our driver, who was also the tour guide, was an amazing, respectful, and incredibly helpful man who made me appreciate Turpan’s culture even more. I felt so welcomed and comfortable even the entire team is Chinese. If you're a foreigner, just be prepared—police or security checks are very common, but it’s all normal procedure, and once everything is verified, they are surprisingly friendly. What truly made my experience special was my guide’s kindness and the way he represented the heart of Turpan; he’s also a wonderful photographer, and honestly, he deserves a raise for the joy he gives to tourists.
