The Hong Kong Wan Chai Royal Hyatt Hotel was truly awful. On the day of check-out, I wanted to leave my luggage there, but I found it was just dumped in the hallway outside the hotel. I objected, and the staff actually said, "So what if it's lost? I'll compensate you HK$1000 per piece..." I'm speechless at the treatment I received in Hong Kong. I'll definitely never go to the Hong Kong Wan Chai Royal Hyatt Hotel again. If I can't handle it, I'll avoid it altogether.

For this trip, we stayed near the Causeway Bay MTR exit, which was very convenient. It happened to be my birthday during the trip, and the hotel kindly upgraded my room for free, allowing me to see Happy Valley across the street just by opening the curtains – I was thrilled!
