Reviews: Hokkaido Illumination Tour & Shikisai no Oka & Christmas Tree & Elf Terrace & Shirogane Blue Pond (Aoiike) Waterfall / Chinese-Speaking Driver Guide
Guest User2026-03-08
This Hokkaido trip was a journey through dreamy snowy landscapes. First, we visited the fairytale-like Forest Elf Terrace, where the little wooden cabins looked incredibly romantic against the snow. Next, we headed to the vast and magnificent Shikisai-no-Oka, with its expansive white landscape and breathtaking views. Then we saw the iconic Biei Christmas Tree, a solitary yet story-filled landmark. Finally, we witnessed the spectacular Shirahige Falls, and the trip concluded with the enchanting blue of the Blue Pond. The whole day felt like stepping into a snowy fairytale! ❄️ Our guide, Andy, was also very patient and explained everything! Highly recommended!

Reviews: [Hokkaido Chuo Bus] Otaru - New Chitose Airport round-trip express (e-ticket scan required)

The bus from Otaru to the airport takes about 90 minutes, which is very convenient and punctual. It is an option besides taking the JR train, but there are only two buses a day.
