This was a shared tour itinerary; it was just the two of us plus one family of three. -7:10 The driver picked us up from the hotel, and we set off to watch the sunrise. -8:00-8:30 Spruce Meadow Cableway -Blue Moon Valley to -12:00-12:30 Glacier Cableway -16:45-17:00 Return train. We were very satisfied with the itinerary. Tickets for the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Glacier Cableway are extremely difficult to get, but this tour included both cableway and train tickets. The driver was very steady; he only took us to Ganhaizi for the sunrise, then to the visitor center, and then we were on our own. The person in charge frequently checked on us via WeChat, asking if the driver had picked us up, if we had arrived at the Spruce Meadow Cableway, and reminding us of the Glacier Cableway boarding and alighting times. Very thoughtful. We missed the return train because there were too many people getting off the cable car, but it was okay; we just took a Didi (ride-hailing service) back to the hotel. Highly recommended.

The route was perfectly organized! Excellent car and driver. We saw all the sights in peace and quiet, with plenty of stops at interesting places. About 10 hours from Lijiang to Shangri-La on a gorgeous mountain road. Constant support via WeChat. We highly recommend!

It was an interesting experience, even though it was all in Chinese. The quality of the shows and the food was just average. But better than just going to simple restaurant.

The price is very reasonable, and the support team is extremely helpful. This was my first time skiing, and I honestly think this place is perfect for beginners. The snow is smooth and soft, not icy at all. The equipment and resting areas are very new, clean, and spacious, which made the whole experience much more comfortable. I’d recommend coming after 12 PM — the weather is warmer and it’s much more enjoyable to ski without feeling too cold. The staff are genuinely kind and supportive. One basic-level instructor helped me a lot, even though I didn’t purchase an instructor package. He was patient, encouraging, and truly wanted me to enjoy and fall in love with the sport. If you’re planning to ski for several days in Shangri-La, I highly recommend getting a multi-day package — the value is excellent.

We had a wonderful cultural experience with Fancy, who speaks fluent French. She introduced us to the local market, the different seasonal ingredients, and the culinary traditions of the local people. Back at her home, in her cooking workshop, we each prepared an appetizer, a main course, and a dessert, which we enjoyed at a beautifully decorated table. The weather was lovely, so we were outside in the garden, which was very pleasant. Since we didn't speak fluent Chinese, and my older parents didn't speak English, we really appreciated being able to converse with Fancy in French. We highly recommend this tour; it was fantastic!


