We’re starting the trip on 7 AM from our hotel and managed to get the Hanging Temple’s climbing tickets. The driver, Mr Liu are very communicative, accommodative, and making us rest assured while the trip on going. He always accompany us until the entrance gate. The taxi that he brought is also clean and neat. We finish our trip on 4 PM and it was a good trip to explore datong and the culture.

What a wonderful trip, made even more memorable by our amazing driver! We explored the historic forts around Datong, traveling all the way to the border with Inner Mongolia. The experience was incredibly informative and fascinating. Learning about the history of these frontier fortifications, the conflicts with the Mongols, and the centuries of interaction along the Mongolian steppes brought the entire region to life. It is truly astonishing what people managed to build and accomplish so many centuries ago. A real wonder of the world, and an unforgettable experience. Thank you so much for such a fantastic journey!
