Kakadu National Park is one of Australia's largest national parks, world-renowned for its lush ancient forests, diverse and rare wildlife, and ancient rock art in caves dating back 25,000 years. It is more than just a national park. It is an indescribable natural and cultural landscape and a spectacular ecosystem waiting for visitors to explore. It is a great treasure, a testament to the natural connection between the Indigenous people and the land they have lived on, cared for, and respected for thousands of years. There is so much to do here: cruise on crocodile-filled billabongs to watch dense flocks of birds fly overhead, appreciate 25,000-year-old rock art with the help of an Indigenous guide, swim in the plunge pools at the base of roaring waterfalls, and hike through the ancient sandstone escarpment. It is divided into five regions based on terrain: tidal flats, floodplains, lowlands, stone country, and the plateau. Famous attractions here include Yellow Water, Jim Jim Falls and Twin Falls, Ubirr, and Nourlangie.Kakadu · 46.3 km from downtown

The Yellow River is a large wetland with lush rainforests, and is home to many native flora and fauna. It is a well-known attraction in the World Heritage Kakadu National Park (Kakadu National Park). Taking a cruise on the Yellow Water Cruise (YellowWaterCruise), visiting the scenery on both sides of the dead pool and observing wildlife is one of the activities worth experiencing in Kakadu. The suitable season for cruises is the dry season from April to November. At this time, the climate is relatively stable, and most of the animals love to gather near the water, so the chance of seeing them will be greatly improved. Especially from July to October, when a large area of lotus flowers cover the water, it is even more fun for the cruise ship to push aside the lotus leaves. The departure point of the Yellow River Cruise is at the Gagudju Lodge Hotel in Cooinda. After purchasing the ticket, take the shuttle bus to the boat point. You can book a 1.5-hour or 2-hour cruise. In the dry season, there are 6 departures a day. The 2-hour cruise in the early morning can enjoy the unique scenery of the dawn of the Yellow River. At this time, birds are more active and the light is good. The last shift before evening is also recommended, and the beauty from daytime to dusk will definitely make you unforgettable. The cruise ship fiddles with the water plants, and the blue sky is reflected on the clear river. Along the way, you can admire the trees and blooming flowers growing in the water, listen to various insects and birds, and occasionally see crocodiles, barramundi, etc. from time to time. Passing by the side of the boat, if you are lucky, you can see rare birds such as magpie geese, Australian cranes, storks, and white-bellied sea eagles. In addition to the regular cruises, you can also choose a night cruise, enjoy the tranquil Yellow River under the stars, or participate in fishing activities.Kakadu · 24.3 km from downtown

Like Norangi Rock, Aboriginal paintings on the rock can also be admired here. Beautiful petroglyphs in a variety of styles, from different centuries, with an enchanting sense of serenity. Most of the main gallery is filled with pictures of kangaroos, turtles and fish, the subject of Aboriginal paintings about 8,000 years ago. Even earlier than these are "mimi" paintings of gods: said to have been painted on rocks by the first creators - and given that there were no vehicle lifts in 6000 BC, you might really think that there were no other than gods One can paint on rocks at such heights and angles. Although the legend cannot be verified for the time being, it casts a strange and eerie color on Ubirryan. The majestic Nardab Lookout here requires a 250-meter climb from the entrance to the main gallery. Standing on the observation deck, you can patrol the exotic waterlogged plain area, watch the sun set and the moon rise at the same time. Although it is not uncommon for the sun and the moon to coexist, it is not uncommon to stand in such an empty and ancient land. Seeing the sun and the moon greet each other, one can't help but feel that the world is so vast!Kakadu · 60.9 km from downtown

Norangi Rock is a valuable cultural heritage that has coexisted with this land since tens of thousands of years ago. The fantastic and magnificent sight presented by the exposed layer of Norangi Rock makes it easy for you to understand its important position in the hearts of the indigenous people. Long lines of red sandstone (with orange, white and black streaks in some places) slope up from the surrounding woodland and disappear at one end of the stepped cliff. Below the rock is Kakadu's famous rock art site. The petroglyphs depict the lives of the natives and their imaginary figures. In the back light of the rock, you can find traces of indigenous life. The 2km loop first passes through the Anbangbang Rockshelter, which has been used as a refuge and canvas for over 20,000 years. Next up is the Anbangbang Gallery, which showcases figures from Aboriginal fantasy drawn during the 1960s. Not far away is the Gunwarddehwarde Lookout, where you can admire the Arnhem Land (Arnhem Land).Kakadu · 42.4 km from downtown

Kakadu National Park is hot and humid during the rainy season. The Yellow River cruise is an eco-tourism experience. Wild crocodiles in various postures and birds unique to Australia all come out in the evening. The tour guide's explanation is very lively and interesting. Highly recommended!

The Ur Rock Art Site in Kakadu National Park has a rock mural that is nearly 10,000 years old. This may be the earliest painting by humans, depicting the hunting and tribal wars of the time, which is vivid and looks like it happened right before your eyes. It is definitely worth a visit.
