If you like to see red-crowned cranes, this is the right place to go. There are a lot of red-crowned cranes here in winter. Except for a few captive red-crowned cranes, most of them come here to look for food in winter. The local government regularly feeds the red-crowned cranes every year, so these cranes come regularly. I saw more than 50 of them when I went there that day. Some swans flying from Siberia also come here to feed. It's very convenient to go here. You can buy tickets at the bus terminal next to Kushiro JR Station, plan and buy a return shuttle bus together, and one hour is enough for you to visit.
