Guyue Water Street is located in Guixi City, Jiangxi Province. It is a tourist destination that combines natural landscape with historical culture. The water street is built along the river, showing the unique charm of the Jiangnan water town. Strolling on the bluestone-paved streets, visitors can admire the well-preserved ancient buildings on both sides. These buildings are mainly in traditional Hui style, with white walls and black tiles, and antique style. Wuyishan National Park

Wuyishan National Park is located in the northern section of the Wuyishan mountain range in northwestern Fujian, stretching across the border area between Fujian and Jiangxi provinces. It is one of China's first established national parks, and Wuyishan itself was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for both culture and nature as early as 1999. The park was formed by integrating the former Wuyishan National Nature Reserve and Wuyishan Scenic Area: the Tongmu area in the north focuses on ecological conservation and scientific research, preserving a rare intact mid-subtropical forest ecosystem at this latitude. The main peak of the Wuyishan range, Mount Huanggang, is also located here, and this core area does not offer regular tourism activities. Sightseeing activities are concentrated in the scenic areas along both banks of the Nine-bend Stream, namely the four major sections: Tianyou Peak to Taoyuan Cave, Nine-bend Stream to Wuyi Palace, One-line Sky to Tiger Roaring Rock, and Dahongpao to Water Curtain Cave. The attractions in the scenic area are relatively scattered with considerable distance between them. A leisurely visit typically requires two to three days. If you only have one day, start by ascending Tianyou Peak for a panoramic view of the emerald waters and crimson mountains along the Nine-bend Stream, then take a bamboo raft downstream from Xingcun Wharf. Along the way, you'll pass landmarks like Jade Maiden Peak, Great King Peak, cliff inscriptions, and suspended boat coffins. The rafting journey ends at Wuyi Palace, making it an ideal classic route. Tea enthusiasts may prefer spending time on the leisurely Rock Bone Floral Trail between Dahongpao and Water Curtain Cave. This gentle path connects core Wuyi rock tea production areas like Liuxiangjian and Huiyuankeng, offering a uniquely fragrant experience. With two days, you can cover all four major sections. For more time, consider visiting the ancient tea merchants' residences in Xiamei Village, the starting point of the ancient Tea Horse Road, or exploring the ruins of the Minyue King's City near Chengcun Village—the latter also being part of Wuyishan's world heritage site. Bamboo rafting is very popular, so please make arrangements in advance during peak season. To get close to the ecological heart of the park, you can take the Wuyishan National Park No. 1 scenic route. Places like Moon Bay and Qinglong Waterfall are suitable for self-drive or private charter. As for food, street snacks like flat meat dumplings and Vietnamese noodles are common, while Langu smoked goose and local dishes cooked with alpine bamboo shoots and mushrooms are also worth trying.China · Wuyishan

Shangqing Ancient Town is a millennium-old town famous for its Taoist culture and Gan-style old houses. It is built along the Luxi River, and the old street running through the town is paved almost entirely with cobblestones from the river, polished smooth and shiny by footsteps over the years, with some even arranged into Tai Chi patterns, a highly recognizable detail of this place. Between the Gan-style residences with blue bricks and dark tiles on both sides of the old street, the Changqing Ancestral Hall, Liuhou Ancestral Temple, Tianshi Mansion, Liuhou Mansion, Tianyuande Pharmacy, and the Catholic Church are lined up in sequence. On the riverside, rows of stilt houses and boat piers line the Luxi River, still retaining the atmosphere of a former water transport hub. Guizhou Village on the opposite bank is the hometown of Xia Yan, an important official of the Ming Dynasty, and to the east of the town are Taoist temples such as the Shangqing Palace and Dongyue Palace. The architecture here is closely connected with the streets, alleys, and the river, creating a strong atmosphere of a historic town.Guixi · 6.3 km from Longhu Mountains

I heard from the locals that this place would be more lively at night, but I didn't go out at night because I was too tired after a day of climbing. When I came here during the day, I found that there was not much to see. The biggest feature was the big word "牛" above the street. I don't know what it means.

There's no excessive commercialization, and the bamboo raft boatmen are quite interesting and don't charge extra. A special shout-out to the "One Line Sky"! Having climbed countless "One Line Skys" across the country, only this one is truly authentic!! A place where you can calmly focus on the scenery, a truly peaceful and beautiful landscape.

A trip to Wuyishan involves climbing Tianyou Peak in the morning and cruising the Nine-Bend Stream in the afternoon. Floating on a bamboo raft along the Nine-Bend Stream, the water is crystal clear, a gentle breeze blows, and the raft drifts slowly, while the boatman tells stories of the mountains and rocks… The mountains are covered with tea gardens, the tender buds sprouting vigorously, and the air is filled with the fragrance of tea leaves and flowers, making one feel relaxed and comfortable.

There are not many people, it is relatively quiet, and there is also the Egret Park next to it. You can get there by taking bus No. 2 to the rest house. There are not so many plants inside, but it is indeed a good place for a walk.
